Oh, don’t we all!
(via remash)
Recently I moved to Berlin (for a two month commitment with option to stay), and the experience so far has been WUNDERBAR - I’m still working on my German. Having not a lick of comprehension for the German language I am studying with a private tutor named Barbara and using my Rosetta Stone software to help me along.

Because of the time changes I incurred recently (South Pacific to Los Angeles, Los Angeles to Philadelphia, Philadelphia to Berlin) I have just now settled on a proper time to wake in the morning. The first few nights I have spent here have been sociable and fun - this city REALLY doesn’t sleep, but that isn’t why I am here.
Reasons why I am here:
1. Get over the love of my life who has moved on from my antics
2. Write my ass off - so far so good
3. Learn German
4. Learn a musical instrument
5. Make myself an international man of mystery - so far so gut
Tomorrow I finally get myself a cellphone and a gym membership. Both of these acquisitions seem to be the most noted additions to someone planning a long-term stay in a foreign city, and I think I settled on a plan for both. Tomorrow we will see.

P.S. Due to the busy-ness of my past couple days, I am including photos I did not take myself, but I plan on taking photos to share with you along my journey. Ciao for now, Auf Wiedersehen!
Auf Weidersehen literally means “until we meet again” (Taken with Instagram at British Airways Lounge)
I didn’t realize what I had done until it was too late. I didn’t feel the pain of my actions until you had finally healed and moved on. I didn’t know that I would lose you forever until you were really gone.

This was one of my favorite all time days. (Taken with Instagram at LACMA)
